5 QUESTIONS for Melissa Page, marketing manager for Wenger

When Wenger, maker of the iconic Swiss Army blade, sought a location for its first retail store in the United States, it didn't take dream of for the company to zero in on Boulder, said Melissa Page, marketing director for the Swiss company. The recently opened 1122 Pearl St. store carries every stab and watch made by Wenger, along with luggage, sleeping bags and tents. The store -- designed specifically to serve to the active, yet casual, city's tastes -- also serves as the launching pad for Wenger's new footwear oblique, said Page, who led the create process behind the store's design.

Page recently talked with the Camera about the new accumulation, Wenger's products and the company's history.
