It takes a licking but still delivers

I have an old video receiver set. The only feature it has that keeps it from being a relic is the lack of knobs to change the channels.

It's an RCA and it possesses astonishing endurance. In fact at nearly 22-years old it's outlasted the Energizer Bunny that made its marketing launch in 1989.

I bought my TV at a video store in Michigan that had so much confidence in the products they sold they gave their customers a 10-year parts and labor ensure on their electronic equipment: including picture tube. It's a 27-inch CRT, of run, and heavy as all get out. It cost us $700, and we got our $500 VCR at the same time; although I have no idea what ever happened to it. However the way technology was, and still is, advancing, I'm positive the VCR ended up in one of our let's reduce-moving-weight-garage-sales we held previous to to relocating to Sebring.
