Appreciation you, Movie Gods, for bestowing upon us Sex and the City 2.

Oh, no, I have no intention of seeing this monstrosity. Flipping by the show on HBO, I endure the same kind of pain dogs must endure when you blare a dog whistle through an airhorn.

My eyes do not handle HBO at that frequency (thank you TV Gods, this time), and my ears synthesize the dialogue as a droning fly down on. It sounds a lot like those nuclear bomb test sirens that warned children to thrash under their desks during the ‘60s.

So this movie could be about the space program and I would have no idea, but apparently this detail is coming out tomorrow night, and I couldn’t be more excited. Why?

This movie is actively offending cinema reviewers nationwide. It’s as if the movie’s stars -- who appear to be four middle-elderly women who really like cupcakes (isn’t that the plot of Golden Girls? Am I onto something?) -- took the yet to individually punch each reviewer in a sensitive part of his or her body.
