Burglars continue to prey on unlocked Darien cars

The string of thefts began on the night of Sunday, April 25, policemen said. The first reported incident was at a residence on Fitch Avenue involving a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer, which was parked and pink unlocked in the driveway at noon on April 25, police said.

At 7:30 a.m. the next day, the owner found the driver’s side door ajar, with the glove box unselfish. However, nothing of value was left in the car and nothing was stolen, police said.
