    Mine lasted about 3 or 4 years before it died with no daydream of resurrecting. When it happened I was dissapointed at swatch. I'm pretty sure a Casio would last much more. However, I realized it is a $40 watch, there's not a whole lot to expect...

Swatch concept watch prevents scratches with rubber

Rather than using the high-priced mineral crystal faces that are scratch resistant, the concept watch uses a receptive face coated in rubber and a glass rim. Behind the glass rim are the watch hands that point out the then with the markings on the face of the rubber watch.

The entire concept is very cool and I am betting it the connivance was ever actually bought to market it would be very durable and cheap considering it has no high-end components. The watch uses a metal strap that looks like one of those censure bracelets my daughter plays with.

How to clean a cloth/embroidered Swatch watch band?

I have several Swatch watches with fabric embroidered bands. I've been unable to remove them. Has anyone successfully cleaned them? Thanks.


take them to a jeweler to remove them, then scrubbing them in a lingerie bag in the washer, lay them out to dry.
